Where do you move to locally in Australia?
Our local removal service covers all of Sydney and Melbourne as well as regional/interstate relocations should this be required. If you are looking at moving between states in Australia, take a look at our Interstate Removals page
Do you offer packing services?
Yes, we do. At Palmers Relocations, we utilise our own professional packing teams to assist you when relocating locally. Our packing teams are specifically trained to ensure your valuables are professionally packed and ready for safe transit to your new home. This includes using specialised boxes for artworks, televisions, wardrobe boxes, lampshades and individually wrapping for each item we pack.
Do you dismantle and assemble furniture for the move?
At Palmers Relocations, we dismantle furniture and re-assemble upon delivery for basic items such as beds and tables or anything else which requires this service in order to safely relocate your personal effects. For difficult furniture, we do recommend the use of a handyman which we can arrange for you upon request.
How many men do we require and what size truck do we need?
When booking a move with Palmers Relocations, we allocate a moving consultant who will access the move, volume of furniture and individual moving requirements. Based on the information, we will utilise the best suitable size truck and necessary amount of professionally trained removalists for smooth and seamless moving experience in agreed timeframe.
How do we keep our furniture clean?
For all moves with Palmers, we utilise new plastic covers and place these over all fabric items to ensure they are kept clean during the local removal process. This includes lounges, dining chairs, mattresses and cushions.
What if we have heavy items such as pianos?
We at Palmers Relocations actually operate our own piano specialist team who specialise in relocating pianos of all sizes locally.
What if I need Storage?
When relocating with Palmers, we offer our clients short-term or long-term storage solutions. We provide clean, dry and secure storage facilities nationally. That allows us to store your goods in containers, storage modules and even self-storage units in a safe, secure and 24/7 monitored environment.
Do I need Insurance?
Whilst our teams take the best care and use precaution when relocating your personal effects, ultimately damages can occur during transit and in most cases, your home and contents do not cover the insurance process. As such, we can arrange transit insurance on your behalf to ensure your goods are protected during your local relocation.
