NSW state government restrictions came into place on 26/06/2021 for the communities in the Greater Sydney region including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour.

Palmers Relocations are a registered COVID Safe Business with a COVID Safe Plan in place for all its staff and operations.

Moving services in the Greater Sydney region including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour areas are only permitted to take place for situations where there is a change to your primary place of residence, to and from a storage facility or if receiving delivery from an authorised essential business. As such Palmers Relocations are still operating and accepting bookings to perform removal services.

All clients are requested to complete a COVID Declaration prior to any services being completed, this includes a declaration that our clients are not currently in self isolation and/or have been in contact with a high risk person/location as per the NSW Government Health Website, click here to check current locations.

Palmers Relocations crews are well versed in the Covid Safety Plan which includes wearing masks at your residence, social distancing and good hand hygiene practices. We also ask that whilst our crews are in the home that the following advice is followed.

1. To minimise any unnecessary contacts, open all doors and windows and turn on all light switches in advance of commencement of works. We would also ask to open windows if possible and sanitise all surfaces prior to our arrival.

2. Our teams will be wearing masks (unless they have an exemption) inside the residence and/or common areas of your property.

3. When our teams introduce themselves as well as working in any given room of your residence, we ask both parties to practice social distancing by keeping a minimum of 1.5 metres between yourself, anyone in the house and the removalist at all times.

4. Where practical, if we can avoid you or another family member being in the same room at any given time it is highly advised

5. Our teams will be practicing good hygiene throughout the day by using hand sanitiser and or soap and water. Please try, if possible, to allocate one bathroom for our crews to use during the day.
