For Dedicated / Sole-use moves, Palmers generally allows around 4–6 weeks from collection. This service provides greater control over the shipment and timing, although international moving dates are still indicative. Vessel schedules, port movements, customs and biosecurity clearance can all affect the final delivery date.

Shared / Groupage is generally the better-value option if you have some flexibility on timing, while Dedicated / Sole-use can suit larger moves or customers who prefer container space allocated specifically to their shipment.

With Shared / Groupage, your belongings travel with other customers moving in the same direction, and you pay for the space your shipment uses. Palmers presents this as the Best Value option for suitable New Zealand moves.
